To design the branding for an imaginary contemporary wine bar in Surry Hills, blending a sophisticated atmosphere with a modern twist. The bar features a wide selection of wines, with a focus on creating a relaxed yet elegant setting for wine enthusiasts and casual visitors. The brand should reflect the refined yet approachable ambiance and integrate Sydney’s laidback culture.
To design the branding for an imaginary contemporary wine bar in Surry Hills, blending a sophisticated atmosphere with a modern twist. The bar features a wide selection of wines, with a focus on creating a relaxed yet elegant setting for wine enthusiasts and casual visitors. The brand should reflect the refined yet approachable ambiance and integrate Sydney’s laidback culture.
I created a brand named *clink*, with the two asterisks (used to imply an action through text), alluding to the toasting of wine glasses and the social experience of connection and celebration through wine at a wine bar. I have designed a logo that combines handwriting and cursive to evoke the elegant yet relaxed nature of the brand, in which this style has also been reflected in the style of illustration assets.
